Happy Late Birthday To Me!

So my birthday was two days ago, the 9th, and I am now officially 22. I don't feel any different, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to or not; but life is pretty much the same. Nothing happened on the actual day of my birthday. I didn't have to work, so I laid around the house all day. Daniel, on the other hand, had to work and then go to school until 8 pm. So, because of that, we celebrated my birthday the weekend before. Daniel gave me the first and only season of "Firefly" on DVD. I watched the whole thing in about two days and loved it!!! Such an amazing show. Fox was stupid to cancel it. I also got a subscription to DeviantArt, like I've been wanting forever.

On Saturday we went to this awesome Japanese steakhouse. You know, the kind of restaurant where they cook in front of you and the chef's do all these tricks and things with your food. It was surprisingly cheap for that sort of thing, but the food was delicious. Then on Sunday we went over to the in-laws where I got some small presents and chocolate cake. The last thing I got were flowers from one of my sister's who's back in Georgia. She's made that her trademark, sending flowers for birthdays and such.

In other news, I got a job a few weeks ago. I now work for a credit union here in Utah. It's totally different than any job I've had before and I really like it. I like the business atmosphere that you don't find in restaurants and the work it's self is fairly easy. I think I caught on to the whole process pretty quickly. I've only been doing the actual teller work for a week and a half now. My first week was nothing but training. But on Monday I'm moving over to another branch, one that's in a grocery store instead of a stand alone one. I'm excited about the move because this way I'll be able to work 30 hours, instead of 20, so I won't have to get a second job! I was really worried before that I would have to.

Other than that, not much else has been going on. I have today off from work, and Daniel is going to be gone all day today at school. So I'm going to do a lot of cleaning that's been ignored for the last week or two. And maybe tonight I'll do some writing.
